Dairy cattle breeders could show their breeding achievements at a beautiful exhibition ground in Szepietowo. Exhibition attracted 68 dairy cattle breeders, including 38 breeders from Podlasie area and 30 breeders from other regions of Poland.
According to the rules of the All-Poland Dairy Show half of the animals should be presented by breeders from the show region while the rest animals come from other parts of Poland. This year 147 animals were presented including 87 cows and 60 heifers. Exposed animals represented four dairy breeds: Polish Holstein, Jersey, Simmental and Red Polish.
The primary judge was Mr. Jaume Serrabassa from Spain, who worked in the ring accompanied by two Polish classifiers. The team of judges awarded 13 titles of champions and 13 titles of reserve champions.
The judges also chose the best cow and heifer rewarding them honorary title “Super Champion of Show”. Spanish judge expressed his admiration for the high quality of animals and their uniformity in the evaluated groups.
